MBA Graduates and Now
Cheickna Sylla: About former students – that’s the most rewarding part of a professor’s job and if in fact it is the most rewarding part of a school’s job because commencement as I said is only the beginning. Michael graduated with an MBA here probably 2001, 2002. He’s actually very big with Mercedes and three years ago he called here and he wanted to hire as many as five students to deal with customer satisfaction. And so he understood what we teach here is exactly what he felt is needed.
Tom Cooke is a person who graduated with an MBA here from NJIT, and right now he is very high in the U.S. Department of Energy, so he deals probably with nuclear energy. And then he was coming and he was an electrical engineer, not from NJIT, but he came to do his master’s here and he’s very high up there.
Then later we see what our students have taken opportunity of what they have learned and make progress in their own life, and there is nothing more pleasing.
